Legislation and standards this policy gives effect to

  • • Labour Hire Licensing Act 2020 (ACT)
  • • Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth)
  • • Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth and ACT)
  • • Commonwealth Supplier Code of Conduct

1. Our commitments to you

  • You will have a written contract before you start, stating your rate, hours, location, client and the terms of the placement.
  • You will be paid correctly and on time, with a pay slip, with superannuation paid to your fund, and your entitlements honoured (POL-06).
  • You are our employee or contractor, not the client's. We are responsible for your pay, entitlements, workers' compensation, safety and support, and we do not pass that responsibility to the client.
  • You will never be charged a fee for a placement, and we will never hold your documents.
  • We will tell you plainly what a role requires, including citizenship, clearance, location and onsite requirements, before you commit to it.
  • We will submit you to a client only with your written consent for that specific role, and never to the same role through another seller.
  • We will check in with you regularly and you can reach the Director at any time.
  • You have access to confidential counselling at no cost (POL-09).
  • If you raise a concern, you will be taken seriously and protected from reprisal.
  • Your personal information is handled under POL-08.

2. What we expect from you

  • Be honest with us about your experience, qualifications, citizenship, clearance and availability; we verify all of them.
  • Follow the Code of Conduct (POL-01), the client's policies and security rules, and reasonable directions.
  • Submit accurate timesheets each week and tell us immediately if you are asked to work beyond approved hours.
  • Complete inductions, work safely, and report hazards and incidents promptly (POL-04, POL-05).
  • Protect client and Axiom Data information, and declare any conflict of interest (POL-02).
  • Tell us as early as you can about leave, changes in your circumstances, or any intention to end the placement, and give the notice in your contract.
